A VIP lunch was organized by the third-year students of the BBM Hons in Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management Degree Programme on 8th August 2026 at the HTE Laboratory of Uva Wellassa University. The event was conducted in parallel with the 500th meeting of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors (CVCD), hosted by the University. Vice-Chancellors from several universities, Deans of the Faculties, and senior administrative officers participated in the luncheon, providing students with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate their professional hospitality, culinary, and event management skills.
