As a part of their field-based learning, On 22th July 2026, undergraduates of the Department of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Management, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka visited Jetwing Yala, Shangri-La Hambantota, Jetwing Kaduruketha, and Cinnamon Wild Yala.

The visits provided students with valuable practical exposure to luxury hospitality, sustainable tourism, hotel operations, cultural authenticity, and wildlife-based hospitality, enabling them to connect classroom knowledge with real-world industry practices.

The Department of Tourism Studies extends its sincere appreciation to all four hospitality establishments for their warm hospitality, professional guidance, and valuable industry insights.
