The project ‘Decorum’ a sub-project of project Practice to Perfect 2.0, organized by the Rotaract Club of Uva Wellassa University – Badulla was successfully held on 20th December 2022 at the University premises.
The session was conducted by two well-experienced lecturers attached to the Department of Tourism Studies, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka; Mr. Namal Ganagananda and Mr. Asanka Bandara.
The main objective of this project was to give undergraduates, knowledge to eat and behave correctly and professionally as experts at the dining table.
Through the session, the participants were shown and taught how to identify cutleries and glassware, how to use them professionally, what the table manners are, how to behave and what to discuss and what are the Dos and Don’ts at the dining table.
The whole session was conducted in an interesting way by practically showing and acting mentioned factors using a 'four-course meal'. The session was completed successfully with over 300 participants.
