The 3rd year undergraduates of the Department of Tourism Studies proudly participated in Sancharaka Udawa 2026, the country’s premier travel and tourism exhibition, showcasing its academic excellence and contributions to the tourism and hospitality sector. The university’s exhibition stall highlighted the BBM (Hons) in Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management degree programme, students’ creative projects, game zone, and promotion of Uva tourism. The event which was held on 15th & 16th May 2026 at the BMICH, provided an excellent platform to engage with prospective students, tourism professionals, government agencies, and industry stakeholders while strengthening partnerships and promoting the university’s commitment to developing globally competitive tourism and hospitality professionals.
