“Dainties 2024” is a culinary and bartending competition that was organized for the first time in the Sri Lankan university system by second-year HTE undergraduates. This island-wide competition enabled creative culinary artists and bartenders to showcase their talents. Funded by Solidaridad Network Asia, Dainties 2024 consisted of a culinary competition and a bartending competition opened for undergraduates and Uva Province hoteliers. The event was held on 29th June 2024 at the university premises with the participation of industry professionals, invitees and students.
