Dainties 2026 is the annual national culinary and bartending competition organized by the second-year undergraduates of the BBM Hons in Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management Degree Programme at the Department of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Management, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka. Held under the theme “Royal Feast of Ceylon,” the event provides a platform for undergraduates, hospitality professionals, and vocational trainees to showcase their culinary creativity, technical expertise, and innovation. Featuring competitions in Edinborough Sri Lankan cuisine, Dress the Cake, Sunquick Mocktail and Uva Glen Cocktail competitions with 48 finalists competing the finals held on 16th & 17th June 2026 at the university premises. Dainties 2026 promotes professional excellence, industry collaboration, and talent development within Sri Lanka’s hospitality sector.
