On 06th February 2026, a career development workshop titled “Career Awareness and Goal Setting” was conducted for first-year HTE undergraduates under the Grad Guide Series (Episode 7). The session was facilitated by Mr. Namal Gangananda, Assistant Manager – Sales at Brown Hotels & Resorts.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to career pathways within the hospitality and tourism industry at an early stage of their academic journey. Mr. Gangananda shared practical insights into sales and marketing operations within hotel management, highlighting the competencies, professional attitudes, and performance standards required in competitive hospitality environments.
