Dainties 2025 – Season II; a prestigious national-level culinary and bartending competition organized by the second-year undergraduates of the Department of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Management, in parallel with UWU Expo 2025. The event was held on 17th July 2025 at the Uva Wellassa University premises, with the esteemed presence of the Vice Chancellor, Deans of the faculties, academic staff members, distinguished invitees, and reputed industry judges. Competitors showcased their skills under three categories: University Students, Uva Province Hoteliers, and Vocational Training Institutes, making the platform both diverse and competitive.
The awarding ceremony, held on the same day, was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Ruwan Ranasinghe, Deputy Minister of Tourism, adding further prestige to this vibrant celebration of culinary and mixology talents.
