The Department of Tourism Studies in collaboration with the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), Uva Wellassa University launched the Diploma in Professional Business Coaching. The inauguration ceremony was held on 08th September 2024 at the Technology Lecture Theatre and Senior Prof. Kolitha B. Wijesekara, Vice Chancellor of Uva Wellassa University graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mr. Stephen Lodziak, Team Leader, Skills for Inclusive Growth (Sri Lanka) attended the event as the guest speaker. The first batch of students, academics, invitees attended the ceremony.
